I was born in England, but lived in Norway from the time I was 18 months until I was 21 years old. At that time I immigrated to America by myself leaving all my friends and family behind. I lived first in Texas, but quickly made my way to Utah where I have lived ever since.
I am passionate about family research. My ancestry is Norwegian, Swedish, English, and Welsh. I have been doing family history for 30 + years; 5 of those years were served as a missionary at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City helping patrons with Scandinavian research. I am currently a Family History Coordinator and Consultant for my local church group. I love teaching classes and helping others to find the joy and blessings of their ancestry.
When I am not doing research I enjoy reading, growing herbs, collecting mortars and pestles, and spending time with my 10 children and 24 delightful grandchildren.
